Role Title(s):

Senior Staff Engineer / Project Engineer 

Role Description

This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to the preparation of site civil engineering plans, permitting, construction administration, and business development tasks. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience preparing site plans for land development projects
• Engineer in Training (EIT) license preferred
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Local permitting experience preferred
• Construction administration experience preferred
• Septic design experience and Soil Evaluator (SE) license preferred
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D required, HydroCAD preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to lead the design and implementation of utility design systems for real estate development projects, and to ensure compliance with local and state standards
• Ability to conduct a thorough site analysis to identify potential site layout and grading, stormwater, or utility challenges, and propose effective solutions that align with project goals
• Experience working with architects, builders, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplines to integrate design into overall project plans
• Business, project management, and land planning experience preferred
• Demonstrate a desire to work in a small business setting, engaging in strategic planning discussions, resolving logistical challenges, marketing, and actively contributing to the implementation of company processes and standards
